Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have actually been seized by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.

A man was interviewed by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence medications via the internet.

The 47-year-old was likewise about other medication offenses.

He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
